It depends on the person.

In fact the christian scriptures in unison make it clear that ahithophel was not only one of the wise ones in this life but ahithophels wisdom was in sync with god.
That means ahithophel had more wisdom then solomon.
But the god of israel said to solomon he would give solomon more wisdom then any mortal man.

Not immortal men.
And all the facts of this life imply that ahithophel was immortal in this life.
.he still died.

In this life.
But so did jesus.
And jesus was a higher ranking immortal before all beings then ahithophel.

Immortals living amongst mortals in this life can die.
If they take on human form especially.

my mother is in the video. She was a registered nurse and we were in a car accident in 1973.
She was brain damaged and paralyzed and has been in a nursing home or hospital ever since. She is still alive. My dad divorced her and remarried after the accident. My stepmother never liked me. I was always considered a bad kid. I used to be mad and said love was taken away from me and replaced with hatred. My mother is Irish mostly. Her father had an English surname but was culturally Irish.
My Dad was actually in seminary be a Catholic priest. He dropped out and married my mother. My dad's mom was half German half Irish. His father was Scottish French and Persian by way of Switzerland. Maybe I'm part Muslim or Jewish I have no idea.
My parents were in their early twenties when they had me. They're both in their mid-70s now.

At times it does make me wonder what life really means.
